AD 1.1  Aerodromes/heliports availability and conditions of use

1.  General conditions

1.1  General conditions under which aerodromes/heliports and associated facilities are available for use
1.1.1 This section contains information on major aerodromes which are available for the use of international and domestic aircraft operations. Section AD2 - AD3 detail the physical characteristics of aerodromes and heliports. AD2 covers aerodromes and AD3 covers heliports.
1.1.2 The aerodromes operated by CAA are available for use by all civil aircraft with the prior approval of CAA.
1.2  Applicable ICAO documents
1.2.1 The aerodrome services are provided in accordance with the provisions contained in following ICAO documents:

  1. ICAO Annex 14 - Aerodrome, Volume I & II

  2. Doc 9157 - Aerodrome Design Manual (Part 1 to 5)

  3. Doc 9137 - Airport Services Manual (Part 1 to 9)

1.2.2 Differences to ICAO Annex 14 are detailed in subsection GEN 1.7.

2.1 Civil use of military aerodromes is not permitted.
