Weather modification activities shall be organized by National Agency of Meteorology and Environment Monitoring beginning from 30 May 2024 to 15 April 2026.
During these activities, cloud seeding reagent silver iodide (AgI) will be spread into clouds with a rain projectile Ground-Air type "JFJ-1A" and "JFJ-3" to increase the precipitation process.
Approval for weather modification activity shall be issued by the Air Traffic Services Division of National Civil Aviation Center of Mongolia. The duration of the activity shall not exceed 10 minutes.
In case of failure to establish reliable communication or failure of communication, or without approval from Air Traffic Services Division of National Civil Aviation Center of Mongolia, rain and hail rocket launch must not be carried out.
